right for some reason my boot will not unlock when i press the unlock car button on key fob (it did unlock till today)

the only way i can unlock my boot now is to double press the boot unlock button on key fob,

any idias anyone?

so if you single tap the boot button on the key fob, it doesnt open the boot, but if you double tap its fine?

ye single press nothing, double press boot opens.

very odd, that doesnt sound like the switch to me then...

Sounds more like a fault with the boot switch on the fob itself.

Isn't this normal behaviour? Focus and Fiesta I've had both needed double press on the fob to open the boot.

Sounds like the boot switch above the number plate has corroded - which is a common fault.

My boot on the CMAX only needed one press, so its my personal experience that says its working outside of normal behaviour...

Mine works on the fob on double press and always has

That's how the tailgate is unlocked.

Two presses on the tailgate unlock button.
