So I got in my car today to do a short drive,when I turned the key in the ignition to start the car I noticed the battery and oil light was still on,when I turned the key fully,all the dials turned to their maximum,the temp gauge,the rev gauge and the speedo and the fuel gauge,before going back to their original place and the car would not start.....any ideas guys my car Ian a focus 1.8tddi year 2000

    More than likely a dud battery mate, the dial sweep is common when the voltage is low.
