Dear All,

I have an iPhone 5s, since installing the latest software update a few weeks ago, I am unable to make phone calls direct through my car. I can stream music via Bluetooth but just cant make a phone call? I know its a fault of Apple (well im sure it is) unless anyone has a fix or thinks Ford can do anything about this????

    Remove and re pair the phone might do it.

    As usual, Apple make their devices even less compatible with other kit.

    Unfortunately it will probably take Ford about 2 years to catch up.

    I have a 5s too (upto date) with the latest Bluetooth update on my 2011 fiesta and it works perfectly. A bit drastic but have you tried fully resetting your iPhone?

    Thanks guys- as to last time when this happened, it has magically just started working again, when I went to make a phone call from my phone it automatically connected to the car again.

    I have a 4s and am always having issues with sync. Can't make my mind up if it's Apple or Ford to blame but it does p**s me off sometimes.

    Hi Philf.

    Yes me too, since starting this topic every time I get in my car and the iPhone connects it tells me the emergency call thing needs to be looked at....very strange. Wish I went for the Audi sometimes...German Engineering cant go wrong!
