Driver Side Electric Window - Diagnosis Help!

hey guys,

Just bought my first ford focus, zetec 2000 model.

The drivers side electric window does not work, but operating the passanger side window from the driver side window does......

Now theres no grinding sound, suggesting i need to replace the window regulator (looking around the internet).

Any suggestions?

    start off by removing the door card and make sure that the switch is connected, also test the switch for contiunuity and see if the switch itself is actually working.
