Fiesta 6000Cd Bluetooth Issue!?

Featured Replies

First of all hello to all, I am a new member and have came across your site to get some help with my radio problem.

I have a Fiesta Ghia 06 plate and have only just discovered the 'BT on/off' option in the advanced menu of the 6000cd radio. When I switched the mode to 'On' and scan with my iPhone 5 it briefly picks up 'Ford Audio' for like 5 seconds before it disappears again. Weirdly, when I switch the bluetooth off it also still picks up 'Ford Audio' and when I click it it tries to pair before failing and yes, there are no other Fords around when I try and do this :P

I have a 'Reg on/off' option as well, not sure what difference this makes to the bluetooth functionality?

Anyways I have kinda arrrived at the conclusion that it must have the bluetooth module, but can anybody explain why it won't let me pair with the radio? is the iPhone 5 to new for it?
