Heater Fan Power

Featured Replies

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum. I drive a 2007. I am having an issue with the heater switch in my car. When it is in the 1 and 2 position it doesn't work, however when in the 3 and 4 position it does. I was thinking it may be the resistor but wouldn't that mean it wouldn't work in the 3 position? Thanks for any help.

Not sure about your exact car but usually if your resister is faulty it works exactly as yours is. Lower settings off, high settings on

Is there any sound at all in position 1 & 2 ? If there is sound but very weak blowing, try replacing the cabin filter. Happened to my fiesta mk7 at the time and that cured it right up.
