Changed Faulty Indicator Holder....now 'systems Engine Fault'

Featured Replies

hi,

i was hoping that someone would have some advice for me please?

i have a 2006 TDCI Focus.

i had a faulty rear indicator holder i.e. the indicator bulb wouldn't work, even if i changed it for a new bulb etc.

i purchased from Ford, a new indicator holder, and put on to car. the indicator bulb started working again.

anyhow a few hours later i tried to start the car and got a message saying 'Systems Engine Fault' and got multiple clicking noises when starting to start the car.

the car will not start at all now.

however, the speedometer sits at about 50mph now, even with the car igination swithed off.

anyone any ideas? i checked all fuses and none are blown.

thanks in advance.

Sounds like a flat battery now..
