    is the eml on when you drive the car?? you need to get it scanned to see if they are any fault codes present

    Probably worth investing in a code reader so you can do it yourself. I have my laptop, FORSCAN and a modified ELM cable - total cost was about £12 for the modified 500000kbps cable.

    I can do allsorts of diagnostics now, and I was using it today to narrow down where there is bad resistance in my airbags.

    Even if you dont go that far, still look at getting some kind of scanner (perhaps a handheld that can deal with airbags etc) as it will be extremely useful.
