KA Collection Seatbelt change

Featured Replies

Is it possible to change the seatbelts on a KA or do they have special things in them for when you crash like the new Vauxhall Astra?

I thought as long as the seatbelts were safe and classed under the BSA it was ok but ive been told otherwise.

HELPPPP!

Thanks

:)

Am assuming you mean pre-tensioners? Not sure if your car would have them but if they did you would get the whole lot when you buy the new seat-belt. Its only a few bolts each to change them and taking off the trims.

you change the belts with the same ones

without the pre tensioners unless

they have been activated ( front shunt)

i done a mk4 fiesta the other day

& chnged just belts not pre tensioners due to fraying

took 30 mins to do both sides

got them from scrap yard cost £40 the pair
