Hi I was wondering if anyone would know where I can find or get the radio code for my focus as I have been have trouble with my battery and my mechanic disconnected the battery for no apparent reason and now my stereo is along for code? Any help would be gratefully appreciated

as long as its not a V serial I believe anyone on ebay can do the code and they are dirt cheap. otherwise, V codes are Ford only

you could try and do what i did as mine is a v code.

ring up supplying dealer VERY politly say that the code wasnt in the paper work when bought is there any chance they could give it to you,PRETTY plz.

That's alright as long as they don't check their records, but it can work

How would I know where the v code is found.

The V code is on a label stuck to the radio casing.

On some models you can retrieve the serial without oulling the radio by pressing/holding 6 and pressing/releasing 2 but will only work on Visteon radios.

If you have a Sony one then the radio needs to be pulled forward to access the sticker.

Ended up getting the code from fraud as I had to go Coventry Saturday and needed my radio for the journey

was it free or did they charge 25 quid for the privilege.

25 quid cos the code wasn't in the history of the car that they have. I begrudged paying 25 quid for four digits but had to be done. Needed a new battery as the one I have had in the car since manufactured died on me completely.
