Fiesta Radiator Cooling Fan.

Featured Replies

Hi all, we have 4 Fiestas here on our drive,

1 2013 1.6 Metal & 3, 2014

1.0 ZS Ecoboost 123's

On the Metal and one of the Ecoboosts, the radiator cooling fans run from start up to switch off, no matter what the engine coolant temperature is.

I searched in here before asking, but it must be happening to others because it's happening to 50% of ours lol!

The metal has been into the local dealership who didn't have a clue, in fact they stupidly suggested my wife was actually hearing the heater fan!

Well she isn't... I can state that the radiator cooling fan runs!

Any ideas why? I mean I can guess, coolant temperature sensor maybe.... But the coolant levels are good, no leaks no air locks no overheating....

Really folks? I mean I hear fiestas running their cooling fans every day but they could be hot lol.

Our 2 are stone cold and the fans run from start up every time, definitely the cooling fan I've seen them running.
