You need a priming kit (or someone with one).

I'd recommend brimming the filter with fuel too to eliminate airlocks.

A lot of priming and turning the engine over can be involved.

If you have recovery with homestart (or family member/friend who has) I suggest giving them a shout and telling a wee white lie.

Put it this way, even garages have problems with Ford diesel filters.

You'd think they would fit a primer bilb like Peugeot etc do.

Makes it much easier.

I'm waiting for fuel assist I'm telling a white lie saying it ran out of diesel.

All done.reminder to all don't undo the bottom drain bung because mine didn't stop emptying the fuel housing!!
