KA Steering Issue

Hi all,

I have just had my KA (02 plate 1.3) back from its MOT... although it passed i have recieve an advisory about the steering.

'Steering sytem slightly tight 2.2.D.1e'

I have also notices a slight knocking/scraping sound comming from the steering column located inside the car, its seems to be on turning the wheel from cental to approx 90 degrees both clock and anti clockwise.

Does anybody here have any idea what this may be and how quickly im going to need to investigate further?
