Sony Dab Radio Problems

Featured Replies

Hi,

A few hours ago I bought a 2012 Focus Titanium with the standard Sony DAB radio. I've got two problems and I'm hoping someone can help?

1. No DAB reception - bizarre as I live in very urban Leeds and there's oodles of signal in my house.

2. MW reception is terrible - much worse than in my friends' cars.

3. (Which may help with the above...) I wasn't given a manual for the radio and can't find one anywhere online.

I've seen a few threads on here for problem number three but haven't tracked down a manual yet.

For the first two, does this sound like a fault? I've still got some manufacturer's warranty left to run.

Thanks!

Definitely have it checked under warranty, might be an antenna issue (incl. antenna amplifier).
