SeanW
I think it was about £2 more expensive to buy Ford wipers over Bosch for the front (from Eurocarparts). Rear was considerably cheaper!! I thought Vicki was supposed to be modelling these guides? Lol

SeanW
26", 17" & 14" on the back Bosch still do the box set. I just have a preference for Ford wipers up front. Tried Bosch in the past and wasn't impressed
Guest
Thanks! Not sure if mine need replacing or that horrible rain ex stuff the garage put on is causing my smears! They're great in proper rain but slight rain and morning dew greasy!
SeanW
RainX isn't too bad so long as it's applied to an immaculately clean screen. I've recently tried it for the first time (was given to me by a friend who swears by it). Didn't like it - like you, mine smeared everywhere. Gave the screen a damned good clean (Autoglym glass polish - Halfords 3-for-2 and 15% off? Be rude not too :D) and applied sparingly with a good amount of buffing. I replaced the wipers at the same time - so gave the new ones a clean and a wipe over with RainX - works really well. Now I get a brief smear (like a motion blur behind the moving wipers) that lasts maybe 2 seconds. To clean the screen and apply RainX takes a lot of effort.
Guest
They put it on my last car too! Works fine for me for about a month. I did like the fact it stopped frost forming though, got a heated screen now so shouldn't matter. I will try what you have done. Cheers. SeanW
It works really well on the heated mirrors - whack the rear screen demist on and the mirrors clear much quicker than without it
theredfox
so rear demist switch also activates heated mirrors is that right

Stoney871
I use Michelin Stealth Wiper Blades. They last longer than the standard Ford Aero blades and wipe better too.
