What Is This Bit For? (Picture Of Ford Bluetooth Box)

Featured Replies

Hiya all,

This is the bluetooth unit installed in the Focus.

novero_ford_bluetooth_retrofit_module2.p

The larger port on the left connects up the module and the head unit I think, but the small port on the right is currently unused. What is this for? Am I missing out on a potential upgrade or extra features?

Cheers folks :)

Bump :)

It's the USB which is only used for updates if you did not get the USB feature from factory (there are 2 different versions of the box).

Had this port on mine too but it didnt have usb feature installed,

Didnt realize i had it until i removed it for sale
