Sony System Disconnects My Phone So Cannot Use Bluetooth But Can Still Play Music?

Hi everyone,

My in car system has been working fine for the last 7 months but recently every time I get into my car it says 'phone disconnected' so I can no longer take phone calls via Bluetooth but I can still play music through Bluetooth even though the car says its disconnected.... weird I know.

Anybody else had this problem? If so can you please help?

Also before anybody says, I have deleted the Bluetooth connection to my phone and tried to re-establish it several times. That doesn't work either :(

    What phone? Any changes to that when the issue occured (firmware update etc.)?

    Its an LG G3 and no updates. The only thing it could be is my mate disconnected my phone to connect his to play some music during a long drive, but that shouldn't of caused it?

    Ìt shouldn't ... But the G3 had at least 1 update in that time - which you maybe still need to get.
