Tomtom Mounts, And Wiring Ideas On Mk2.5

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a mk 2.5 Zetec and I am wondering what I can do really in terms of hiding wires , mounts etc

but I must point out that I do not want to be taking bits off and drilling holes etc

I have a Tomrtom go 6000, so I'm not willing to change for a ford sat nav or a screen stereo unit

I also have an ipod

At the moment , the car is new to me, so I haven't installed anything

my current idea now, is to have a long wire for the satnav to the power socket in the arm rest and trail it up somehow away from the driver/hand brake etc and maybe getting a bean bag mount ? anyone have one of these? are they stable and come off the dash cleanly?

as for the ipod, getting one of these

and place the ipod in the ashtray at the front under the stereo ?

any other ideas?
