Fiesta Mk 7.5 (2014 Zetec 1.0 Ecoboost) Sub Wiring?

Featured Replies

I've just bought a brand new fiesta 1.0 ecoboost and i have a fli trap 2400w subwoofer that i want to put in however i'm struggling with where to get audio from and where to connect the switch live to? is there anyone that has done this already or knows a little about it? ie what i can use where i can get it from? thanks

I think you may be better off paying a professional to fit it. For starters the head unit doesn't have RCA connections on the back so an RCA converter will need to be spliced into the cables for the rear speakers.

Having said that, I'm pretty sure there's a guide on here somewhere for fitting a sub into a mk7 which should be pretty much the same.

EDIT: guide here http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/4697-guide-installing-a-sub-box-to-mk7/

When I first got my 7.5 zs I was gonna go to caraudiocentre.co.uk and see if they would fit it. Might be worth a look.
