02 1.6 Heater Problems

Featured Replies

I have recently changed 2 heat resistors. 1st one didn't work at all 2nd one worked perfectly for few weeks. Now I have not a lot. It doesn't blow out any heat at all in the car or on the windows. Only time can get it to work is with the window down half way but then the heat is like half a no 1. Can also hace heaters switched on cold and 0 and still get this petty amount of hest. Also front heated screen doesn't work. Is this linked any way at all

Any help or ideas please as don't want to take to garage to get ripped off

Is that the part just above where the heater resistor is ? If so what would I do to check this ?

I have been to a garage today he tested few bits and bobs and says the blower motor has gone.

It keeps blowing a new fuse every time a new one is put in

Is it just a case of getting old blower out and new blower in and clipping it back in and I'll have heat or any other bits that need doing like cable or testing it or anything ???

Don't think I'll need 1 for myself.
