Hi i have just changed my interior light blub to an LED one on my MK2 focus, after locking the doors i have noticed the light is still illuminated (>10mins) but only slightly. As you can see from the picture is not bright enough to illuminate the car, i did leave it for over an hour and it eventually went off so i was just wondering if this is normal behaviour for and LED blub?

Some LED bulbs do remain energised for a while especially if no resistors are fitted.

It won't harm the battery as the power drain is minimal.

If you like I can link you to better led lights that will look better and certainly not stay illuminated.

Is your light the single festoon bulb or T10 type?

If you can put up a photo I'll point you to similar to my installation.

Yeah if you could send a link of better bulbs that would be great. I believe its a 42mm festoon bulb i have attached a picture (sorry for the quality taken from my ipad), any advice is much appreciated?

This is how my 3 piece light looks-

I have the ambient light unit so the bulbs are in 3 pieces.

Looks good i just have the single unit, anything to make it brighter than it already is would be great. At the moment it's pretty useless.

With all 3 of my lights on it's like daylight.

The one I linked for you has an in-built brightness adjustment so you can dim it down a bit if needed.

Sounds good, yeh i did see that nice feature to have. Do you know the size of the festoon verson as i know the bulb size needed is 42mm.

The beauty of a festoon fixture is that you can bend the pins to take different size bulbs.

A 265 festoon as sized in the listing equates to a 42mm bulb anyway.

Thanks mate. I ordered 2 of these a long time ago and they never came, seller refunded and then stopped selling them (I suspect he ran out) was a bit of a shame really.

I was there at 06.30hrs doing the clearance searches and in the background on stand-by until everything was finished.

Most of the PCSO's I've here are female - and most are pretty damned hot (mid 20's to mid 30's age range) lol

The few male PCSO's I've met look about 12!!

Did have to laugh at the copper who dealt with my shed break in a few months ago - collar number 666 lol

We just had a Female Officer join and her collar number is 7.

They could have added a couple of 0's, imho an opportunity badly missed.
