Mk3 Ford Focus Speaker Upgrade

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Like some of you on here I'm looking to upgrade my speakers on my focus. My main goal is to change all the speakers without chopping any wires or changing the head unit.

Anyway I know what speakers I want, a set of components for the fronts and change the tweeters and then a set of 2 way coaxalls for the rear.

The only thing that I keep thinking is its a shame to have these speakers but not being able to power them properly with the standard head unit.

So after some research I found this website where someone in the usa had a solution which looks brilliant.

Here's the link:

The thing is I don't understand what they have done with that parrot harness. I'm not sure if anyone can work out or explain if I buy the amp and this harness how do I get this to work.

Hopefully someone can help. If I get it right I'll do a guide to show how I've upgraded the sound system but keeping the standard head unit and it looking oem with also the advantage of being able to put it all back to standard without one cut or chop to the wiring.

Thanks

Dan
