After the battery had to be taken out, the radio code is needed. Local Ford garage decided it's good one for ripping people off (not the first time) so not going there. I had a similar problem years ago and I know you there is a way to retreive the number somehow without forking out more dosh.

Does anyone on here know how to do it>

    Pull the radio out and find the serial number (should begin with a V).

    Traders on ebay will supply codes but as V codes are only available from Ford expect the service during working hours only.
