Featured Replies

Focus tdci 55 plate. 2 litre

Engine light comes on about 7 miles into journey. Fault says some thing about high pressure to turbo .

Had new thermostat fitted and the fault started had a new sellanoid today but still came on .. Mechanic just been out and says no fault showing ? Confused ....

Also have the temperature gauge thing were it goes down when driving . Never overheats but strange to see the guage go down .. Hence the change of thermostat .. Thought that might be the problem but still moves ...

. Any advice appreciated

Temp gauge going down to me would indicate an air lock in the system when you changed the thermstat over did you bleed the system after top up by leaving the cap off the resiviour and holding at a fast idle with heater on full till hot air is coming out ideally have vents on the screen so you can feel when it's hot .
