Clicking Noises Turning Right And Buzzing Behind Steering Wheel

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have recently bought a Ford Fiesta 62 plate.

I have started to hear clicking noises when turning right which is louder the sharper the turn is. Does anyone know what this could be?

Sometimes whilst driving there is a buzzing noise coming from inside the steering wheel behind the volume controls. Has anyone ever experienced this problem and had managed to get it fixed?

Thanks,

Elisha

CV joint possibly - check the boot and see if its ripped

I have had it fixed. The brake pads apparently needed cleaning. Glad it wasnt too much of a problem. Hopefully the noise does not return.

Always good when its a cheap fix. Had that issue once on my old one and also two CV joints so guess its quite common on the fiesta.

Loads of 2010 onwards fiestas get a problem with the Steering Column. My aunties fiesta got recalled for this, and sounds similar to what you're describing. Hope this helps
