Boot Won't Open With Handle Or Key.

Featured Replies

I have a 2007 Focus CC. The boot will not open using the handle or the key. When I try the handle, I can hear a click, but nothing else happens. Any ideas please? Is there an alternative method of opening it?

The only other method I have used in the past is to try and get the cover from around the lock by accessing the boot with folding the seats down and you should be able to get a small screw drive into a part of the lock to frig it open if I remember correctly there is like a small oblong opening on the lock caseing once you hit the right spot it will just spring open .

Cheers, but as it's a convertible I can't access through the rear seats. Not sure if the is another way to frig it.
