I'm sure I've seen this on here before but can't find anything.

Noticed last night that the passenger side illuminated scuff plate is only half illuminated. post-50303-141683873758_thumb.jpg

What have people done about this and is it easy enough to fix?

    I had the same problem on mine it went after like 2 or 3 months of owning the car but luckily my local dealer had the part in stock (obviously a common problem) and replaced it while i waiting only took them about 20mins haven't had a problem since :)

    Only had it just over 2 months! Seems like the time for it to go by the sounds of it! I'll take it into my dealer and see what they say

    Have you had it from new? If its a 64 plate this part now has a 3 year warranty not the 1 year of pre 64 plates.

    Taking it into the local dealer today so they can "check" to see what the issue is. Will having HIDs fitted cause a problem?

    Got mine replace under warranty as when I bought the car both mine only illuminated half way. They been fine since touch wood.

    Was changing the bulbs when I got it to blue ones and forgot to plug the light back in and got an error but didn't short it!
