Cd6000 Bluetooth No Longer Working

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm new here so go easy on me here. Firstly, apologies if someone has already posted about this, couldn't find any info anywhere on this.

I've had my 06 2.0tdci zetec mondeo for a couple of months now. up until yesterday, the Bluetooth on the cd6000 was working great, I could make phone calls and what not. Yesterday, my phone wouldn't pair, and I couldn't find any settings on the head unit to change Bluetooth settings. It was almost as if the Bluetooth functionality had been switched off or disconnected. I've not knowingly changed anything, and I'm struggling to find a manual anywhere online that actually talks about the Bluetooth functionality of this unit.

Also, I'm getting no audio coming through the aux in socket in the glove box. . .

One last thing to mention, this car came with the phone kit (the cradle next to the handbrake and the mic by the courtesy light)

I'd appreciate any help you guys could give me. Thanks.

This sounds like a known issue with the Bluetooth module (which is not the radio), which may hang up and not communicate with the radio anymore, at which point the radio acts as if there was no Bluetooth module installed. This should recover after a reset (fuse or battery disconnect). Don't forget to have the radio PIN code at hand before you try this.

Thanks! Where would I find/set the radio pin?

Your radio code should be on a card with your owners handbooks.

If not then you need the serial number and a trip to ebay.

(Your serial will start with a V).

I didn't get any books/manuals or anything annoyingly, which seems to be the source of my current predicament. . . Thanks for your help though!

In that case you will need to Press/Hold button 6 and Press/Release either button 1 or 2 to obtain the serial number.

If that doesn't work for you then you need to pull the radio forward and read the serial off the label on the radio casing.

The removal keys are readily available off ebay aqnd sometimes from Halfords-

How to use the keys-

To remove the keys you need to push the clips inwards to release the notch from the keys.
