Oil Leak Help

Hi guys I got a leak coming from this part as u can see from the pics

It's just above the oil filter any ideas what the part is and roughly how much in cost and will it be easy todo my self or garage

That looks like your oil filter on the right! Either that is loose or punctured, that cable going into the engine looks like the oil level sensor which is either loose or is Jammed! So a trip to the scrapie £5-10 or a new one probably £40-50 replacing it yourself. It's and easy fix thought. About 45 minutes. Of course you will need to do an oil change as well.

Lovely i just done an oil change today that when I noticed it lol oh well such is life lol

Oil pressure sensor leaking. Try tightening a quarter turn or some PTFE tape on threads first. If that cures it, sorted, if not buy a new one for about £10, 10 mins to change. You don't need to do another oil change.

Hi thanks for the reply it was in need of a new one as it was coming through the plug itself there was a little crack in it, picked one up for £6 all done now
