Power Cables Through Bulkhead

Featured Replies

Hello people,

I did post this in the forum but maybe in the wrong section.

Iv read and seen 'how to' upgrade stereo equipment but there is no mention of where to feed the power cable(s) through the bulkhead.

Is it a case of removing the glove box? If so, how does people create a bigger hole through the rubber bung with the rest of the cable which go through?

Thankyou in advance.

Kind regards. Joe

It's usually a case of finding what method of reaching the bung suits you best.

I'd suggest that if you pierce the bung try sealing it with Sugru, it forms a rubber seal and when set will ensure no leaks-

Available on ebay, Amazon and from B&Q and Blacks camping stores.

Wow, thankyou again stoney. You have been fab with the help!

Just need to find something stronger than 'no more nails' so I can bond a piece of mdf for the drivers side rear wheel arch as this is where one of the mono amps is going. Maybe 2-3kg in weight. Iv heard tiger seal is ment to be better...

Tigerseal sticks everything to everything else (even stuff you don't want to :d )
