Streetka Stalling/problems

Featured Replies

Hello!

I'm new here and would appreciate some advice.

So this is my first car 2004 model and I'm just a little concerned. I've just past my test in a ford, diesel which was very easy to move off with just your clutch.

When I first drove this car on private land I could pull away with no revs, not a problem and didn't stall or feel like it wanted to. I had to then leave the car parked up for a while, the battery died so I charged it up.

I noticed once I started the car up it sounds like it has really low tick over? And now it really wants revs when pulling away. It stalled on me quite a lot today even when I thought I had enough revs.

I got it home and noticed that there was bubbling in the coolant tank. An air lock I assume. Could that have been problem as well as the battery?

Sorry for the essay but I'm just a little anxious.
