I'm new to all this modifying stuff, I've had my ford fiesta zetec s 09 petrol for about 3 months and think it is about time I started to modify it, what would be best to start off with want more bhp and want it to sound like a beast. This is my first post so please be nice

Does it have a turbo?

Things to start off with;

Exhaust, maybe a decat for noise?

Air filter,

remap;

Iridium spark plugs when you next change them;

Bigger intercooler (if Turbo'd);

A new fuel filter might even make a difference!

Where is the best place to get this stuff from ?

If it's a none turbo yes it can but at a huge cost. I wouldn't go down that road if it's not a turbo engine. Just stick to the remaps and other stuff. One of the other things is use a good fuel like she'll v-power or bp ultimate fuel instead of supermarket or normal fuel. Doesn't give the bhp increase but cause it burns better with less carbon clogging the engine it makes a world of difference.

Sometimes an engine clogged with carbon can perform better - if there's a build up on top of the pistons this has the effect of raising the compression ratio ;)
