Updating Maps Dvd

Featured Replies

I have a 2009 Ford S-Max with satnav. It has a Blaupunkt "DVD Navigation Europe 2009" DVD in it. what's the most cost effective way of updating this to more current maps, am I tied to ford? I notice tomtom do map dvd's but I'm not sure if they are compatible.

The Tomtom maps (for the Ford system of the year) do work as Tomtom is also the supplier for the Ford maps (and has been for a couple of years).

Any luck finding out about the maps?

I bought TomTom maps off ebay in the end. Cost about £90. There's a video on YouTube showing how to put the DVD in, it's a doddle! Still an expensive upgrade though...
