12 Plate Gearbox Whining - Is It Still Covered On Warranty?

Featured Replies

I have a 12 plate focus thats done 50,000 miles. Last full service was in the summer. Is it normal for the gearbox to be whining and will it still be under warranty?

Should be, isn't ford warranty 60k or 3yrs? 15 plate isn't out yet (just) so you should be alright

Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

You will need to get booked in asap, warranty is three year from date of vehicle registration or 60 K miles

They'll tell you its normal and it is .a mate had a 13 plate replaced for the same thing and the brand new gearbox did it too a ford technician was sent to look at it and told them all ford gearboxes whine its normal
