Picked up a 2nd hand c max this afternoon, 04 1.8 petrol ghia. By the time I'd got home I could hear something scraping on the road. Quick look with a torch, pitch black so couldn't see much, and there appears to be an aluminium pipe coming down from crank pulley end of engine. My question is could this be air con drain come adrift or something more sinister? Taking it back tomorrow but it's a 2 hour drive so if it's an easy fix I'd rather take it to a local garage

Probably is an aircon pipe but without and pictures or more detail of where the pipes run to we cant really help you much.
