I've got a front facing dashcam which is plugged into the front 12V socket and switches on and off with the ignition no problem.

The rear facing cam is plugged into the rear 12V socket near the passenger footwell. This socket is always on and I am worried that I will forget to unplug the camera and drain the battery one day!

Is there any way of changing it to only activate with the ignition? Or is there some sort of adaptor etc?

    Could always try and find which wire supplies it (big task!) And fit a relay switched by the front socket?

    Alternatively is there any other ignition switched supplies in the boot?
