Problem With Interior Lighting, Help?!

Featured Replies

i got hold of a mk3 focus rear interior light and have cut it into place and spliced the wires from it into the wires going into my current light in the front,

problem is that it seems to be sending a constant current through and wont turn off on its own when doors are shut etc, but the front one still does.

can anyone shed some light on my situation please.

thanks in advance.

simon.

The rear Focus MK3 interior light is controlled by the front Focus MK3 interior light. The front interior light has an output wire which controls the rear interior light.

On the Focus MK3 there is even difference between the normal interior lights with a standard W5W light bulb and the LED interior lights which are standard on the Titanium. The LED versions of the titanium are more advanced and have more wiring attached than the normal interior lights with the W5W light bulbs.
