ElNevera
Hi All I have a 2007 (57) plate focus 2.0 TDCI Titanium, and I was wondering about bluetooth in it. It has the Sony (oval) head unit with the green and red phone symbols on it, there is also a mic clipped to the interior light with a cable stuffed round the edge of the windscreen. There is also a phone mount bolted to the center console and a Tax disc size aerial type thing present. I was thinking there may be a bluetooth unit present and was wondering if anyone had any tips for where to look for it? Cheers Si

tractor
Here's how you do it.... Press Phone, "No Phone Paired" is displayed, followed by "Add bluetooth Device." Press ok - "Find SYNC" is displayed, and the radio plays "Press OK to begin pairing a device" Press ok - "SYNC" displayed, followed by "PIN: 123456". the radio plays "Search for SYNC on your device and enter the PIN provided by SYNC" Find SYNC on your phone, and enter the PIN displayed on the radio screen. "iPhone Saved" (or "DroidX Saved" or whatever your phone model is) displayed followed by "Device Connected" and the radio plays "For your safety please stay alert to changing road conditions and use SYNC's voice activated features while your vehicle is in motion. To use this device for bluetooth audio, choose the device bluetooth audio in the media menu" "Set as Primary Phone?" Press OK twice to set as the primary phone Display now says "Download Phonebook?" Press OK twice to download the phonebook
ElNevera
Thank you for your help. When I pressed phone the radio muted but nothing else happened. I guess that means the bluetooth part isn't there or connected. I want dab and bluetooth, does that mean I'll need to change my aerial and would it be best to go aftermarket or try and find a genuine Ford one? tractor
yeah mine justs mutes as well unfortunately I'd also be interested in what head unit in need to get the bluetooth functionality, there might a guide if anyone knows where it is that'll be great but for now EINevera did you know theres a normal 3.5mm jack cocket in the glovebox that you can plug your phone/ipod ect into to stream your music? as for calls it might be easier to just a standalone parrot system but it would be nice to have it all integrated
