Rear Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

What is the average time it takes to fit some x-vision rear parking sensors to my st3 at a ford main dealer (colour coded)

I fitted them , myself to my c max hour half tops.

DIY it - as above, about half an hour (ish)

You can pick up a kit on ebay for less than £15. Might need to colour code them, but even that won't be anywhere near as pricey as a dealer fitted X-Vision kit (especially if you DIY that too)!!

ok thanks lads, but i think i will let my a dealer fit them, not sure about the wiring ect..

A dealer will want the car for half a day to fit them mate. I've had it done on 2 fiestas. Doesn't them that long but that's the time frame they allocate.

Each sensor plugs into the control unit, as does the buzzer.

All you need is to tap the positive wire on the reverse light and find an earth point

Honestly mate, it's really easy!!
