ken4174
Hi can anyone advise, I have a 2004 Fusion diesel which has bubbles in the fuel line. the car starts but after a few seconds cuts out and sometimes when you prime the diesel it starts and runs okay until it is left a few hours and it does it again sometimes refusing to start. I have had it looked at and the mechanic replaced the primer head (priming bulb and hoses) said it was past it's sell by date but it has been back 3 times with the bubbles still in the fuel line he tells me now that I need a fuel filter but it was replaced in April past but is a non genuine part could this be my problem? thanks in advance Kenny
kevzs960
Could be. I always advise the customer to have genuine filters fitted. I used to use non gen at work and i could never get the vehicle started. Change it with a genuine...no problem
