Hi all I have a 09 plate focus

I need to get a new airbag control module

Can. I just plug it straight in and will auto configure

Or will it need programed and if I do plug it straight in

Will it set the air bags off

    I think it'll need software downloading to it that's specific to the spec of your car.

    Can't see that it would set the airbags off when it's plugged into the car, as any car specific software is loaded once the module is plugged into the car - whether at the dealer or during manufacture.
