[Update] Focus St Radio Wiring Help?

Featured Replies

So I posted this a few days ago: http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/66332-focus-st-radio-wiring-help/

And now I have an answer to whether it will fit and the answer is a dissapointing no!

The only reason is beacuse the absolute moron who owned the car before did this to the wiring:

It's such a mess :(

Sad times for this ST's audio, such a shame.

Yeah its awful. The head unit in there at the moment is just some terrible chinese knock off and seems to only get one or two radio stations, not sure why. Might have to get some professionals to have a look. Hopefully they have seen similar things to this and will be able to fix it. We will see.

If you can find a local breakers yard maybe you can get a standard quadlock connector plus decent wire lengths that should just leave you with a bit of crimping or soldering to do.

I can crimp and solder no promblem I just don't like fiddling with so many wires with the potential hazard of doing it wrong. :/

It will have to stay like it is for now until I have time to fix it.
