Ford Focus Mk 1.5 St170 Lookalike, Parts Required?

Featured Replies

Hi guys new here, recently picked up my first ever motor. A Mk1 face lift focus. Just wondering what are the required parts for my focus to be aesthetically the same/similar, besides the ST170 alloys. Also, is it a pretty straight forward job?

Cheers, Rob

Most of the cosmetic ST170 specific parts should be a straight swap - the foglamps are available as a kit from Ford with loom connect into the original wiring.

Can't recall if the front bumper was unique or just had different lower grille in it, then front and rear bumper 'bump strips' were colour-coded instead of plain black plastic. Upper grille should be a straight swap.

Then it'd be a case of lowering the car a tad to match the stance of the ST170.

Apart from the lowering bit it shouldn't be too much work to fit the other parts unless the bumpers and side sills/skirts would need changing - the ST170 wasn't that much different visually in reality apart from the wheels, standard trim didn't even come with tailgate spoiler.
