Obd-Codes Ford Focus 2008 1.6Tdci, 120.000 Miles (190K Km) Which Codes To Prior?

Featured Replies

Hey. Got a Ford Focus 2008 1.6TDCi. 190.000 km (around 120.000 miles i guess).

I have these codes on my car when I plug in with OBD-tool.

P1402
P1622 (not really a fault I guess).
P2002
P193B
P0222
P2458

The car handles like it should, and the engine responds like it should...

Old car, but what should I fix?

I don't wanna end up with something that doesn't work.

Thank you so much for help,

Benjamin

clear the codes and recheck, as some may be historic codes. then go from there,

I deleted all codes, someone told me I should do so.

Now I only have P1402 and P2002.

I will try to clean EGR-valve, I hope that fix P1402.

I think it never has been cleaned, for sure.

I am going to buy DPF-cleaner, like you put in the tank, and hope that fixes the issues.

good call, resetting the codes is the best way to go forward as you have seen, its narrowed your problems down to 2!
