Door Handles Freezing

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any idea on how to stop this from happening, my local ford dealer in Aberdare is as much use as an ashtray on a motor bike

To be honest never had that issue with any of my fords if you mean the external one then when you pull it open you'll see it runs on a platic slide a smear of good old vaseline stops the water from collecting there and freezing whilst you're there give the striker plate where the lock catches when closing the door a little smear I do that every 6 months hence no issues

My focus is only 6 months old had dozens of fords over the years never any problems but apparently thos is oa common fault and ford ia thinking what to do

White grease spray, get the nozzle in all the cracks and give it a good blast,

The freezing is cos its got water inside that has frozen, keep the water out and it wont freeze
