shenz100 Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 I have recently had a light come on 'powertrain warning fault' I had my mechanic look at it who done a diagnostic. He said that it is an ECM fault and would have to go to 'ford' he told me that the module will either need re-programming or waste case scenario they will need to fit a new one and then program that. I rang 'ford' who now want to do their own diagnostic for £90+ even though I told them the fault (which I understand as they aren't going to just take my word for it) I'm just worried how much their now going to bill me to sort the problem.
