I have recently had a light come on 'powertrain warning fault' I had my mechanic look at it who done a diagnostic. He said that it is an ECM fault and would have to go to 'ford' he told me that the module will either need re-programming or waste case scenario they will need to fit a new one and then program that. I rang 'ford' who now want to do their own diagnostic for £90+ even though I told them the fault (which I understand as they aren't going to just take my word for it)

I'm just worried how much their now going to bill me to sort the problem. Has anyone else had any similar problems?????
