Hi guys

My partner has a ford fiesta freestyle 2001. Now and again when she starts the car the car won't start. It tries to start but it feels like you have to quickly try and put your foot on the accelerator to try and keep the engine running but the engine dies. When you try and start the car the speedo and rev needles roll to maximum. The car can be ok for a week or 2 and then this problem happens again. This can happen when the engine is hot or cold. BUT give it 20 or 30 minutes and the car will start normally.
