Chiming Noise

Featured Replies

I have a mk7 fiesta and sometimes when I switch the ignition off I get a chiming sound.it doesn't happen often and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was ? It wasn't the fuel as the tank is never that low and wasn't the seat belt chime

Not headlights is it?

Not headlights is it?

Don't think so I normally switch them off before the ignition and the door wasn't open

Doors(s) open lights on chime ?

Don't think it's the headlights but I will try it when I'm next my car. Normally there is a chime if I open my door and lights are on but wasn't this time

Do you have start-stop on your car? If so, the car will chime if you switch the engine off whilst the engine had cut out due to start/stop mode. Why it does this I do not know!

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

I don't have the stop start on my car, no idea what it is

Temperature? On the focus it chimes when the ice light comes on. Fiesta maybe the same?
