Wind Deflectors For St

Featured Replies

I'm looking at getting some wind deflectors and thought I'd ask what you guys would recommend. I found a review comparing a few different ones and the Climairs look like the best (but would consider others). Are these the right ones:

And what about tinted vs clear, and where did you guys buy yours from?

Me n mental_atom got heko and are great! Both very happy about them

Here's the video that put me off the Hekos:

The Climairs were the only ones that didn't come loose at high speed, and also the only one with proper safety certification and easiest to install. Is that still true or have Heko updated their deflectors since that review which was in 2012?

Mines dint come loose :s didn't In my last car either! Load of ball lock s bud honestly he's installed them wrong or re arranged them so tape isn't sticky or something because I've never had mines move (this or last car!) And in my last car I did over 32k with them in! 4doors

Well a got my first car in 2011 so a think he has swapped and changed them for the review which made them loose because mines were and are tight

That my friend is a climair promotion video for Defo

Team Heko.

Got team heko here as well on a ZS 7.5 Mines haven't budged in the 15000 odd miles.

I reckon paramanic is bang on about the video, When I bought mine they had several pieces of double sided tape, the ones in the video look like they don't come like that (maybe took off)

Maybe you're right about the vid being biased. Do the Hekos actually stick to the doors, and can they be removed easily with no damage? I assume the Climairs come off more easily cos they just slot in place?

Yeah they can be removed with no damage just if putting them back on will need new tape personally climairs are far more expensive than they should be for a 2door set you will need is only like £25 where climair is what 35-40 something? For me it was gonna cost 60 odd for my 4doors if I chosen but I chose hekos which cost me £32 for 4doors

But a dno but a had a strange experience when trading my old car in ...... He saw my car and I was gonna take wind deflector s off but because my last car was so great as a first time car and he said it would sell I'm a week he said keep wind deflector s on it and he would give me extra for it so a got £40 extra in my trade in lol! (bought them for 28 too lol)

I might wait until the weather is more suitable for using wind deflectors. At the moment I don't think driving around with the windows open would be a good idea lol.

In the summer though they should be great. Do you guys find you can just open the windows a bit to keep cool instead of using air con?

Save your money & just use the air con or wind the window down :)

Good point, but I'd love to drive around with the windows open so I can hear the engine and not have the air con reducing the power, as if that makes any difference lol.

Am driving with window slightly down up here in Scotland -3 this morning but heat keeps in as a dont put them low enough for a lot of air coming in lol
