I'll Need New Brakes In 6 Months

Featured Replies

In my old orsa, observing that the 50 yards of cars in front were slowing I would lift off and meet them at their speed, I rarely needed to use the brakes (folks behind must have thought my lights were duff). Not so with my Tit. In comparison there's virtually zero engine braking so I produce loads of brake dust. If I stay further back to compensate, some Tit fills the gap in front ;)

Not always a good idea anyway as folk behind don't know you're slowing if not as observent.

My problem is in really slow moving traffic my fez isn't keen on 2nd gear. I need a 1.5 gear.

While on subject of gears...

I find engine noise inside car is pretty good and quiet. Throw in that I was also on phone to wife.

I was coming down a dual carriageway at 70-75 and glanced down to see I was at 4000rpm. For a few secs I was like why was it so high. Realising then I was still in 3rd gear. Jeez those are high gears.

Does show even hands free you can get destracted by phone. ...but what a car.

Yep, when you fall out of turbo at maybe 15 to 20 in 2nd it's a problem. The book says don't go into 1st above 15mph so you either have to stay in 2nd and slip the clutch or slow further to use 1st.
